Excelsior University is hiring experienced, student-centered part-time communications faculty to teach public speaking and interpersonal communications courses. The role is hybrid in St. Petersburg, Florida, with online instruction using pre-built course shells and some evening hours for hybrid courses. Responsibilities include delivering courses, engaging with students, providing feedback, holding virtual office hours, and following university policies. Applicants need a master’s degree or PhD in Communications or a related field with at least 18 graduate credits in communications, plus experience teaching communications in an asynchronous online environment; Canvas experience is preferred. Compensation is $1,000 per credit hour per course, with low-enrollment courses paid at a directed study rate.
