Austin Peay State University is hiring a part-time Flight Lab Instructor to serve as Pilot in Command and instructor pilot for Robinson R44 and Guimbal G2 Cabri helicopters at Clarksville Regional Airport. The role involves helicopter flight and instrument training, Flight Training Device instruction, maintenance check flights, and occasional ferry-flight travel, while complying with FAA regulations and maintaining a current FAA Class II medical certificate. Applicants must have the required helicopter CFII ratings, a bachelor’s degree or aviation-related associate degree, at least 500 total pilot hours and 50 instructor hours, plus a valid driver’s license and clean aviation disciplinary and accident records.
