The Host is responsible for welcoming and directing guests, managing seating charts and wait lists, coordinating dining-room staff, providing estimated wait times, escorting guests to tables, and maintaining entryway cleanliness. The role requires customer service and communication skills, POS and card-processing ability, reliable attendance, professional appearance, and the ability to stand, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive motions. A Food Handlers certification is required before employment begins.
