Description
Central Oregon Community College is hiring a part-time Construction Pre-Apprenticeship Instructor for the 2025-26 academic year. The instructor will teach and evaluate students in the Construction Pre-Apprenticeship program, provide office hours and student assistance, use course-management and disability-services tools, participate in assessments, and support BOLI, JATC, and apprenticeship-related activities. The role may involve daytime, evening, weekend, campus, online, or remote instruction and extensive travel, including operating a pickup with a trailer. Compensation is $752 per load unit; the position is non-represented and non-benefited. Applicants need relevant teaching or apprenticeship experience, a degree or credential in the field, or a journey card, along with NCCER certification or the ability to complete required training and a valid Oregon driver’s license or ability to obtain one.
