Description
The ABE/HSE instructor provides remedial instruction in reading, math, language, writing, listening, and speaking for adult students pursuing High School Equivalency or HiSET attainment. The role administers and interprets TABE pretests and posttests, delivers remediation based on results, maintains student records, and executes a specialized curriculum. The schedule is Monday through Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with availability for two or four evenings. Certification requires a bachelor’s degree, required workshops, a criminal background check, and completion of the certification process within four months of hire.
