Description
The Janitor keeps buildings clean and orderly by cleaning rooms, hallways, restrooms, elevators, stairways, and other work areas; sweeping, waxing, and polishing floors; cleaning carpets, furniture, draperies, windows, and walls; replenishing bathroom supplies; replacing light bulbs; transporting waste; and performing light maintenance and setup tasks. The role reports to a Janitorial Supervisor, is non-exempt, and requires less than high school education or up to one month of related experience or training.
