Description
The Janitor maintains buildings in clean and orderly condition by cleaning rooms, hallways, restrooms, elevators, stairways, and other work areas; sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors; cleaning carpets, furniture, draperies, windows, walls, and metalwork; replenishing bathroom supplies; replacing light bulbs; transporting trash; and performing light landscaping and snow removal when required. The role reports to a Janitorial Supervisor, is non-exempt, and requires less than a high school education or up to one month of related experience or training.
