Patch Caregiving is hiring a part-time Lead Teacher to manage a play-based, multi-age care room for children ages 2–12 at its Shippensburg, Pennsylvania site. The role covers approximately five shifts per week from Monday through Friday, typically 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., with variable start and end times. Responsibilities include ensuring child safety, leading age-appropriate activities, communicating with parents, planning curriculum, maintaining records, and collaborating with staff. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of Lead Teacher experience in a daycare, preschool, or similar setting, child development knowledge, diapering and toilet-training experience, communication skills, digital communication familiarity, and First Aid and CPR certification. Compensation is $18–$20 per hour, with weekly paychecks, paid sick time, free First Aid and CPR training, a learning stipend, professional coaching, and flexible days off.
