Microsoft is hiring a part-time Logistics Technician, also known as a Datacenter Inventory & Asset Technician (DIAT), to organize, track, secure, and maintain equipment supporting its cloud services. The role coordinates warranty claims and failed-vendor hardware, manages stock control and inventory records, performs cycle audits and discrepancy reconciliations, stages inventory, and handles the destruction of data-bearing devices under supervision. Applicants need a high school, BTEC, apprenticeship, or equivalent qualification plus six months of relevant experience or an internship, or equivalent experience; warehouse, supply chain, retail, or logistics experience is preferred. The position requires Microsoft Cloud background screening and offers a 24-hour working week, with ongoing applications until the role is filled.
