Description
The School-Based Miscellaneous employee provides supplemental student supervision and coverage before, during, and after the school day, including hallway and building monitoring, recess, lunchroom coverage, in-school suspension, study hall, bell-time entry and dismissal, and field trips. The role may also support parent outreach, tutoring, reception, social media, clerical and data-entry tasks, and school activities. It requires a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of related support experience, customer-service and education or community-outreach experience, and experience supervising children in an organized setting. The position is based at the Marquette School on Southwest Side and includes medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid leave, and other benefits.
