West Valley-Mission Community College District is hiring a part-time, associate-faculty pool instructor to teach adult basic and secondary education courses, including GED/HiSET preparation, high school diploma programs, credit recovery and advancement classes, and basic skills and college readiness courses. The instructor will provide instruction in reading, mathematics, and writing; prepare and deliver small-group classes; evaluate student work; maintain records; and support students. The position is based at Mission College in Santa Clara, California, with assignments as needed during Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters, and may include day, evening, Saturday, or online/distance teaching. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is required, and the salary is prorated based on workload, with a semester range of $38,464 to $55,582.
