Description
The part-time Outbound Freight Handler loads and unloads freight, prepares and inspects trailers, operates material-handling equipment, weighs and dimensions shipments, plans load distribution, documents freight shortages or damage, reviews shipping paperwork and manifests, verifies hazardous-material descriptions and placarding, and blocks and braces freight for safe transport. The role is on second shift and prefers a high school diploma or GED, prior forklift, dock, warehouse, or material-handler experience, and forklift certification; applicants must pass background and alcohol/drug testing.
