Description
Community Medical Services is hiring a full-time Nurse Practitioner to provide outpatient medication-assisted treatment for patients recovering from opioid and other illicit substance use disorders. The role includes physical examinations, medical assessments, prescribing and managing methadone treatment plans, case management, clinical documentation, referrals, patient education, and collaboration with the Medical Director. The position requires a Nurse Practitioner license, an unrestricted DEA license, CPR and First Aid certification, electronic medical record experience, and the ability to complete a fingerprint clearance and tuberculosis test. Clinical experience in substance abuse rehabilitation and opioid treatment is preferred.
