Description
The Residential Program Assistant supports a residential work-release program for adult state inmates by supervising residents and program activities, monitoring facility security and resident accountability, conducting searches and urine and alcohol testing, escorting residents to approved destinations, maintaining records and logs, and overseeing vehicle and program maintenance. The role requires NJDOC and NJAC clearance, background and driving clearances, a high school diploma or GED with two years of experience, relevant human-service experience, computer and Microsoft Office proficiency, and a valid driver’s license and registered vehicle. Compensation is $16–$18 per hour, with comprehensive health insurance, paid time off and holidays, and a retirement plan with employer match.
