Description
The Restitution Program Activity Assistant supports the Brunswick County branch of the North Carolina State Cooperative Extension by working with juveniles ages 7–21 who are ordered to pay restitution or complete community service. The role plans assignments in the botanical garden and restitution grounds, coordinates volunteers, maintains participant records and the NC Allies System, and attends Teen Court once monthly. It is a part-time position of approximately 10–12 hours per week, with on- and off-site work as needed, and requires a high school diploma or GED, at least six months of youth-program experience, and the ability to perform physical work involving office equipment and landscaping tools.
