Description
Southwestern College is hiring a part-time Surgical Technology Instructor to teach laboratory and clinical Surgical Technology courses, including basic surgical technique, asepsis, instrumentation, operating-room scenarios, and intraoperative clinical experience. The instructor will assume laboratory or clinical teaching assignments and may supervise related classes. The role is face-to-face and may be held at Chula Vista, National City, Otay Mesa, or San Ysidro campuses during weekdays or evenings. Applicants need a bachelor’s degree plus two years of full-time surgical technology experience, or an associate’s degree plus six years of full-time experience, along with an active NCCA- or CAAHEP-accredited surgical technology certification and recent operating-room scrub or surgical-technology teaching experience.
