Description
The Teacher Aide provides care and support for children in infant through Pre-K classrooms as part of a teaching team. Responsibilities include active supervision, classroom and playground maintenance, implementing learning activities, supporting children’s social and emotional development, assisting with special-needs children and families, communicating with parents, and maintaining professional and licensing standards. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with two or more years of Early Childhood Education experience preferred, and includes lifting children and equipment, physical classroom work, and the ability to handle emergencies. Background checks, fingerprinting, and drug testing are required before hire.
