Description
The role involves driving heavy trucks and trailers to and from assigned MSW landfills in Pasquotank County, including roll-off, transfer, recycling, and other solid-waste equipment. The driver will also perform hauling, safety, and maintenance checks, lift up to 50 pounds frequently, climb onto and under trucks and trailers, and serve as a substitute for full-time staff. Applicants must be at least 18, hold a valid North Carolina Class A CDL, drive straight-shift vehicles, pass a safe background check, have mechanical aptitude, and work independently with minimum supervision.
