FAR Inspections is hiring an independent residential mortgage field inspector to perform occupancy verifications in Caroline County, Virginia, and surrounding communities. The role involves brief exterior visits, determining property occupancy status, capturing at least nine photos, submitting reports through mobile applications, and maintaining territory coverage and deadlines. The inspector manages their own routing and schedule, provides their own vehicle, smartphone, computer, internet connection, and printer, and must pass a background check. This is a 1099 position with per-inspection pay, typically equivalent to $25–$35 per hour, and an average of approximately 30 inspections per month in the territory.
