Description
The Animal Emergency & Specialty Center of Knoxville is hiring an Emergency Veterinary Technician for a part-time ER position on a mid/swing shift, including an overnight 7pm–7am schedule with weekends required. The role supports emergency triage, patient stabilization, rapid assessments, CPR, oxygen therapy, shock management, IV and blood procedures, radiographs, anesthesia monitoring, medication administration, wound care, and patient monitoring. Candidates need at least two years of experience in emergency, ICU, or high-volume general practice; licensed veterinary technician status and emergency or specialty hospital experience are preferred. Compensation is $17.50–$24.00 per hour, with $25+ per hour negotiable for actively licensed veterinary technicians with relevant experience, plus medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits.
