The Part-Time Workforce Continuing Education Instructor – Commercial Driver's License (CDL) plans, prepares, and delivers classroom and hands-on instruction for students preparing for entry-level commercial trucking and Class A Commercial Driver's License certification. Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, basic vehicle control, range and yard instruction, supervised behind-the-wheel driving, safe commercial vehicle operation, professional driving practices, student evaluation, and program collaboration. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License, commercial driving experience, a safe driving record, knowledge of commercial vehicle operations and safety regulations, and the ability to instruct and communicate effectively with students.
