Description
The Participant Support Specialist provides supervision and assistance to participants in a Goodwill Easterseals Miami Valley program, helping maintain their safety, well-being, dignity, and involvement in daily activities while promoting independent living skills. The role supports programming, self-help skills, transportation, meals, records, cleaning, recreational and therapeutic activities, attendance, and scheduling, while maintaining a safe and confidential environment. A high school diploma or GED is required; experience with physically, mentally, emotionally impaired, and socially isolated adults and seniors is preferred. The position requires a valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, background check, and drug screening, and involves regular standing, walking, lifting, and occasional outdoor work.
