Description
The Parts Coordinator manages automotive repair parts throughout the repair-order process, including sourcing, ordering, receiving, verifying, labeling, tracking, storing, distributing, and returning parts. The role coordinates with vendors and shop staff, enters invoices and supplemental parts into management systems, reconciles vendor invoice reports, verifies negotiated discounts, and supports an accurate, timely customer experience. It requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–3+ years of automotive-parts experience, strong customer service, organization, communication, problem-solving, computer, and multitasking skills, plus familiarity with automotive repair practices and systems such as Summit, Repair Centre, Mitchell, Audatex, Car-part, Progi, APU, and LKQ B2B.
