Hark is hiring a Patent Agent to build and execute the software-side patent portfolio for its foundation models, inference systems, agentic systems, and platform software. The role involves identifying patentable inventions with research and engineering teams, drafting and prosecuting U.S. and international applications, handling §101 subject-matter eligibility challenges, preparing office-action responses and examiner interviews, managing disclosure and inventorship matters, and advising on patent versus trade-secret protection. The position requires U.S. Patent and Trademark Office registration, a relevant technical bachelor's degree or higher, and at least five years of software patent drafting and prosecution experience.
