BridgeBio is hiring an in-house Patent Counsel to provide end-to-end intellectual property counsel for pharmaceutical assets from discovery through life-cycle management. The role owns patent preparation and prosecution across global markets, leads freedom-to-operate assessments, advises R&D, business development, regulatory, and commercial teams, and supports U.S. and ex-U.S. adversarial proceedings. Candidates need a J.D., U.S. bar admission, U.S. Patent and Trademark Office registration, California practice eligibility or limited-license eligibility, and at least eight years of pharmaceutical or life sciences IP experience. The position is based in Palo Alto, California, or San Francisco, offers a $230,000–$270,000 USD salary, and includes a hybrid work model and comprehensive benefits.
