Description
The Application Engineer applies engineering practices to recommend and install Perkins engine products, defines customer requirements, selects appropriate engines and options, and supports sales with cost estimates, component compatibility analyses, bills of materials, installation drawings, and electrical and mechanical schematics. The role collaborates with Perkins, Pathfinder Power Solutions, sales, parts, production, and suppliers; requires strong customer and communication skills, engineering knowledge, SolidWorks experience, and at least five years of direct customer contact experience.
