Description
The Anatomic Pathology Technician provides anatomic pathology services under the supervision of a pathologist. Responsibilities include obtaining and preparing surgical specimens, performing gross descriptions and dissections, accessioning specimens, photographing slides and specimens, and conducting postmortem examinations. The role may also coordinate special specimen requests, maintain pathology records and equipment, assist with pathology conferences, and supervise laboratory technicians and assistants.
