Description
Altasciences is hiring a Pathology Assistant I to process pathological specimens in a laboratory setting, including gross examinations, necropsies, organ weighing, tissue trimming and processing, bone marrow smear preparation, decalcification, quality checks, electronic data capture, archiving, study setup, equipment and facility record maintenance, chemical and waste management, and specialized and fetal reproductive necropsies. The role requires a science-related degree or equivalent experience, laboratory or biological science experience, anatomic biology, pathology and histology aptitude, basic chemistry and computer skills, scientific mathematics, English proficiency, attention to detail, problem solving, and participation in on-call and GLP training.
