Description
Altasciences is hiring a Pathology Associate to process pathological specimens in a laboratory setting. The role performs gross examinations, necropsies, organ weighing, bone marrow smear preparation, tissue trimming and processing, protocol and study setup activities, electronic data capture, quality-control review, equipment and facility maintenance, chemical and waste management, and recordkeeping. Candidates should have biological science or laboratory experience, anatomic biology knowledge, basic chemistry and computer skills, scientific mathematics, pathology or histology aptitude, strong attention to detail, interpersonal and problem-solving skills, and English proficiency. The role requires participation in on-call duties and continual GLP training; sponsorship is not available.
