Description
The Patient Access Registrar serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, gathering demographic, financial, and insurance information; obtaining consents; coordinating estimated patient liabilities; verifying insurance benefits; responding to service and account questions; resolving concerns; and updating customer records. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, touch-typing at 40 WPM or above, data-entry competency, professionalism, communication, active listening, customer service, independence, and the ability to work in stressful situations. It is full-time and PRN, with evening and night shifts, every-other-weekend availability, holiday availability, and some shift rotation.
