Description
The Patient Registration Specialist greets, interviews, and guides patients and family members through the registration process at Heritage Valley Health System. The role collects and enters demographic and insurance information, combines ancillary schedules, assists with automated kiosk check-in, and supports accurate hospital records and billing. It is a full-time, 24/7 position requiring flexibility across days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and cross campuses. No prior experience is required, but a high school diploma or GED equivalent, strong communication, organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills are needed; healthcare, coding, medical terminology, billing, and insurance knowledge are preferred.
