Description
The Patient Access position at UTMB Health facilitates access to hospital and clinical services for new and returning patients. The role performs patient registration, verifies demographics and insurance coverage, determines financial responsibility, collects deposits, coordinates referrals and prior authorizations, identifies reimbursement and financial assistance options, and provides information to patients and healthcare staff. It is an onsite, rotating day/evening schedule in Angleton, including every other weekend and holidays.
