The Patient Access position at Mount Nittany Health performs patient registration across outpatient, emergency, and inpatient settings; schedules appointments; records and verifies demographic, insurance, and authorization information; interviews patients; provides customer service; handles high call volumes; operates multiple IT systems and telecommunications equipment; and collaborates with clinical and administrative staff. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with medical office training, medical terminology knowledge, and healthcare customer service experience preferred. Coverage across all shifts and Mount Nittany Health locations may be required.
