The Patient Access Representative supports hospital departmental efficiency through patient registration, scheduling, pre-admission and admission, reception, discharge, insurance verification, financial clearance, payment collection, and patient information management. The role requires Spanish, availability for rotating day, evening, night, and weekend shifts, a high school diploma or GED, and customer service and medical-administrative skills. It is based at the THOP Sierra Campus and includes extended computer use, frequent standing and walking, occasional lifting, and potential exposure to life-threatening patient conditions.
