Description
The Patient Registration Specialist is responsible for timely and accurate patient registration, interviewing patients for account information, verifying insurance, calculating and collecting patient liability amounts, obtaining treatment signatures, checking physician orders, attaching orders to patient records, preparing paperwork, and escorting or referring patients. The role is represented by SEIU and requires a high school education or GED, with an associate’s or technical degree or equivalent education and related experience preferred.
