The Patient Access Specialist / Registration role at Upper Valley Medical Center handles patient financial counseling, co-pay and deductible collection, financial assistance education, registration, appointment scheduling, ADT-system entry, insurance verification, ABN generation, order compliance, MSP completion, consents, procedure placement, and pre-certification. The position is PRN, day-shift, flexible, and float, requires weekend and holiday availability, and is paid eight hours per pay period. A high school diploma or GED is required, an associate degree in healthcare or a related business field is preferred, and proficiency with Windows-based computer technology, keyboarding, and typing at least 25 words per minute is required.
