Description
The Trainer I supports Patient Access users across a health system by developing, planning, conducting, and maintaining education programs; preparing training materials; delivering classroom and on-the-job training; resolving EHR and technological issues; supporting application upgrades and testing; and evaluating training effectiveness. The role requires a high school diploma, two years of hospital, clinic, or healthcare experience in Patient Access, knowledge of medical terminology, billing, insurance coverage, and performance improvement, prior training experience, and an Epic Principal Trainer certification within one year. The position requires travel throughout the health system and involves physical work including standing, bending, and lifting.
