Patient Advocate Representative - Billingual at Conifer Health Solutions

The Patient Accountant screens self-pay patients at the hospital bedside for eligibility in governmental and non-governmental programs, identifies potential payors, routes accounts in the Patient Accounting environment, completes financial clearance and collections, follows up on government applications, and assists patients with benefits and documentation. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of experience in social services, hospital admitting, or a related area, familiarity with federal, state, and county programs, and proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. The position is based at Abrazo Scottsdale, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with possible travel.
