The Patient Care Assistant provides basic direct patient care under the delegation of clinical professionals, including vital signs, specimen collection, activities of daily living, hygiene, positioning, transfers, feeding, equipment use, documentation, and patient safety. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, STNA registry for state-tested nursing assistants, and at least 0–6 months of experience; 1–2 years of equivalent experience is preferred.
