Description
The Patient Care Assistant provides basic direct patient care under the delegation of clinical professionals, including vital signs, specimen collection, activities of daily living, hygiene, transfers, equipment use, and documentation. The role also supports patient admission, transfer, and discharge; maintains a safe and organized environment; and communicates patient observations to registered nurses. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with AHA CPR and patient-care proficiency, while no license or certification is required. The posting specifies 0–6 months of experience as minimum and 1–2 years of equivalent experience as preferred.
