Description
The Patient Care Associate supports the clinical care team in a specialty service by assisting registered nurses with patient care, activities of daily living, specimen collection, vital signs, clinical procedures, mobility, dietary support, patient safety, documentation, and unit maintenance. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, medical assistant or patient care assistant training with venipuncture and EKG skills, healthcare experience, communication and physical abilities, and BLS or Heartsaver certification. It is a full-time night position at Mount Sinai Hospital, with an hourly salary range of $27.85 to $29.88.
