Description
The Patient Care Technician assists a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse by performing assigned, trained tasks that support direct patient care and the nursing process. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR certification for a Healthcare Provider or Professional Rescuer covering adult, child, infant, and AED care at the time of hire, and either state-tested nursing assistant status, recent NA course or testing preparation, or six months of direct acute-care patient care experience within the past three years.
