The Patient Care Tech supports direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a Nurse Leader at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport, part of Hartford HealthCare. The role performs selected patient-care interventions, helps maintain a safe and efficient care environment, supports a positive patient experience, and works flexibly in a high-activity setting with multiple priorities. No prior experience is required because on-site training is provided; BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required within 60 days of hire or transfer.
