Description
The Patient Care Technician works under the direction of a registered nurse to maintain safe and clean patient rooms and service areas, assist licensed personnel with basic patient needs, and monitor health and vital signs. Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent, relevant patient-care experience or training, and current American Heart Association BLS certification; a Certified Nurse’s Aide license or Patient Care Technician certification is preferred. The role involves physical work in varied environments, including lifting, standing, and patient exposure.
