Description
The role assists doctors and nursing staff with patient care, including activities of daily living, vital-sign monitoring, mobility support, postmortem care, EKGs, phlebotomy, and blood-glucose monitoring. The position also reports patient-condition changes to registered nurses and maintains phlebotomy equipment and inventory. A high school diploma or equivalent and current BLS certification are required, while communication, compassion, teamwork, and computer-based data-management skills are preferred.
