The Patient Care Technician provides basic patient care and support under the guidance of a registered nurse or designated healthcare professional. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, assisting with feeding and grooming, supporting mobility, documenting care, reporting patient changes, and providing customer service. The role requires nursing aide training or equivalent certification and relevant clinical experience, with BLS preferred and EPIC EHR training preferred.
