Description
The Patient Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for patients visiting or calling a dental office. Responsibilities include greeting patients, maintaining a welcoming reception area, scheduling and confirming appointments, managing patient records and insurance information, collecting payments, processing claims, responding to patient inquiries, and coordinating with dental staff. The role requires 1–3 years of receptionist or customer service experience, preferably in a dental or healthcare setting, and a high school diploma or equivalent.
