The Navigator assists patients in navigating the medical system to complete medical evaluations and initiate HIV-ART therapy, reinforces adherence education, schedules and accompanies patients to clinic and off-site appointments, coordinates support groups, assists with medication and prescription management, updates clinicians, and helps patients access social services. The role requires a high school diploma, experience with chronic illness and homeless populations, and Spanish-speaking ability is preferred; benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage.
