Description
The Patient Relations Representative serves as a consultant and liaison for patients, families, legal representatives, visitors, hospital and medical staff, and health care providers. The role documents complaints and grievances, reports findings and recommendations, performs problem solving and patient advocacy, maintains confidentiality, and collaborates with organizational and medical staff to improve service recovery. The position requires a bachelor’s degree, 1–3 years of job-related experience, customer service and communication skills, medical records and terminology knowledge, regulatory compliance knowledge, and the ability to manage relationships and confidential information.
