Vituity is hiring a Patient Relations Interpreter for Spanish-speaking patients to work in person and by telephone at French Hospital Medical Center in San Luis Obispo and Arroyo Grande Community Hospital in Arroyo Grande, California. The role interprets medical information, reads written documents aloud, coordinates patient care transitions, maintains confidentiality, documents encounters, and refers patients to appropriate care-team members. A high school diploma or GED, English and Spanish proficiency, medical terminology knowledge, HIPAA knowledge, and the ability to pass hospital-administered translation training are required; one year of customer-service experience and an interest in language services, health sciences, or public health are preferred. The salary is $25.00 per hour, with benefits varying for part-time and per diem employees.
